Two ways in, and both are yours
Every hosting account with us can be reached two ways: directly by web address with the matching login details, or through your client area, which can log you straight into cPanel and webmail with a single click and no passwords typed. Both routes end in the same place, knowing both means you always have a way in.
The direct route
- cPanel: browse to yourdomain.tld/cpanel and log in with the cPanel username and password from your welcome email.
- Webmail: browse to yourdomain.tld/webmail and log in with a full email address and that mailbox's password.
Note that addresses in the style cpanel.yourdomain.tld do not work on our servers, always use the yourdomain.tld/cpanel and yourdomain.tld/webmail form. If your domain is brand new and still propagating, the welcome email's IP address gives you access in the meantime, as covered in our article on what happens after you place your order.
The client area route: one login, every door
Your client area at our website is more than billing, it is the control centre for your whole relationship with us, and it opens your hosting directly:
- Log in to the client area with the email address and password you chose when ordering.
- Open your hosting service under your services or products list.
- Use the login buttons on the service page: one click opens cPanel, another opens webmail, no cPanel or mailbox password needed, the client area signs you in securely on your behalf.
This route is the one to remember when a password is missing: as long as you can reach your client area, you can reach your hosting.
While you're in the client area
Since you are logged in anyway, this is also where everything commercial lives: viewing and paying invoices, updating your contact and payment details, registering or transferring domains, ordering new services and upgrades, and opening support tickets. The full map of which login does what is in our article on understanding your logins, the short version is that the client area is the front office, and it happens to hold spare keys to the workshop.
When access fails
- Client area password forgotten: the reset link on the login page emails your registered address, and everything else above becomes reachable again from there.
- Direct cPanel or webmail login failing: use the client area route while sorting it out, then reset the relevant password, cPanel via support ticket, mailbox passwords yourself in cPanel under Email Accounts.
- Nothing loading at all: if your website, cPanel, and webmail are all unreachable together, your connection may be blocked rather than any password wrong, see our article on website access issues, and reach us on WhatsApp or from another connection.
Good to know
The client area sign-on buttons are also the tidy answer for teams: a business owner who holds the client area login always retains access to the hosting, even when day-to-day cPanel or mailbox passwords are held by staff or a web developer. Whoever holds the client area holds the account, which is exactly why that login deserves the strongest password of the three and should never be shared casually.
